About This Game ARAYA is a first person adventure/horror game. Players will get a new thrilling experience inside a Thai hospital.The story will be told from the perspective of 3 different characters. This is my game play.. The graphics are really bad, and the sound is okay, but if you can look past that, you have a REALLY good horror game.The story is really good, and so is the horror.But it's like 4 hours long, less if you play it fast, just so you know. Though considering the price you cant really complain.. Chapter 1 started off pretty badly, tossing out the worn out horror tropes left and right, but the sound design was really good, so I kept going and got a genuinely good fright from the chapter, even though I had my reservations. I decided to keep going. The Chapter 2 level design is comical, but I'm not spending decent money to be amused by terrible level design and reused assets. How many times am I going to have to step over the same row of yellow chairs or crawl under boards? During the first few minutes of Chapter 2, the answers to those questions were "quite often". At this point I decided to pause and consider my options before going any further. While they did give me a scare during the first chapter, the amateurish design was really pulling me out of the story and causing me frustration. I think that there are probably people who don't notice such things who could probably have a good time with this, but I'm simply too jaded to enjoy this game.Sorry, has to be a refund and thumbs down from me.. Scariest game in my life!. when i load the game i can not see anything!!!!!! anyone know why is it vr only??????. overall is good game.. this game based on true myth in asean i think there's a same myth with indonesian myth, the story is good and very clear who is araya and why she was like that. But there's one bug from the beginning till the end that is about the cursor, when the ghost appears the game little bit lagging and the cursor move by itself, i think it should be fix for the better game, cause it's very disturbing when i want to escape from the ghost but suddenly the game is lag and cursor is moved by itself. I Love the story very good.. This is one hell of a story-driven game! I love the story, it reminds me of Thai Horror Movies and gives me the creeps… It has jump scares AND it has an eerie vibe to it as well.. it takes place in a haunted hospital which is a first for me – the scary atmosphere makes you feel as if you are actually at the hospital, I feel sorry for whoever plays it in VR. It gives me flash backs of both Amnesia and Outlast – the way it is played. If you are looking for a terrifying game then this is the one for you. You will not be disappointed! I know I wasn’t and I look forward to playing more of this game…I hope I come out sane. Store page lies. Doesn't support HTC Vive. If you DO get it working, it looks, runs, and sounds awful. Full of jump-scares, and I've seen the animation for the titular ARAYA freak out and wiggle around more than once. So it doesn't even work if you get it running. For those of you saying "You have to go get the Oculus Injector and then..." I know about the injector, and I've had issues with it in the past. The injector is beside the point: the store page says it runs on the Vive. When it open it I'm literally given the message that it doesn't work on the Vive. Says Vive. Doesn't support Vive. Lie.. This game would be more enjoyable if the controls were't such disaster it wouldn't make me search even for smallest flaws that the game ahs. Camera does what ever it wants when atmosphere is creepy. Camera flips around when you move against walls or collide with something and I noticed that mouse accelerates faster when you move it enough in certain direction and then suddenly slows down again when crosshair leaves that area. Hard to explain but sometimes mouse just moves much faster and sometimes it moves slower. Whose idea was it to make you move 70% slower backwards or left and right. The game just won't let you peek around corners and as a PC player I'm not enjoying it that I can only use W+ mouse to move around. Moving slow backwards would make sense but left and right too. I always hold A or D harder hoping that the characters would move to the sides faster.The characters were also missing all the logic thinking. Why the guy is still in the hospital even though he had seen some crazy♥♥♥♥♥♥ Why the other character is calling for her sister when she sees a woman that clearly isn't her sister and chases her all around the hospital? They use telephone light in dark areas but won't call for help? Yes, they could call help any time. They even get phone calls and do phone calls themselves but to the wrong people.
